Philip is an MD/PhD dual degree candidate in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology at the Boston University School of Medicine.
Philip is currently working with the Boston University Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy Center (CTEC). His dissertation research involves validating the first set of clinical diagnostic criteria for chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and the development of a cumulative exposure model to predict later-life impairment and CTE in former football players. He works closely with his primary mentor Robert A. Stern PhD, and collaborating principle investigators Yorghos Tripodis PhD, Robert Cantu MD, and Ann McKee MD.
